This small-group session in Gaithersburg, MD offers a quiet pause from the pace of daily life and an opportunity to reconnect with how you eat, not just what you eat.
Led by Natasha Marshall, PN1 nutrition coach, certified personal trainer, and founder of Inside Out Functional, this experience introduces the first step of mindful eating: awakening awareness.
Many of us move through meals on autopilot eating quickly, distracted, or out of routine rather than intention. Over time, this disconnect can shape how we experience hunger, fullness, satisfaction, and our emotional relationship with food.
This session gently interrupts that pattern.
What to expect
A guided mindful eating meditation
Reflection on your personal eating patterns and rhythms
Insight into how pace, distraction, and modern routines influence the way we eat
Light, intentional food tastings to support sensory awareness (not a full meal)
Space for optional discussion within a small, supportive group
Parting gifts
What you’ll gain
Greater awareness of hunger and fullness cues
Insight into your current mindful eating patterns through the Mindful Eating Questionnaire (MEQ), including your initial score and where you fall across key areas of the assessment
A deeper connection and understanding to your body’s signals and needs
Foundational tools to begin shifting from autopilot eating to intentional nourishment
Please note: small tasting portions will be provided as part of the experience. Kindly share any dietary restrictions or allergies in advance so accommodations can be considered.
This is not a class about rules or restriction.
It’s a practice in awareness - one that invites you to slow down, pay attention, and rebuild trust with your body over time.
